These terms govern your use of jledsigns.com and any quote, estimate, fabrication or installation service performed by Lone Star Lumen Co. ("we", "us"). By using this website or accepting a written estimate, you agree to these terms.
1. Estimates & proposals
Written estimates are valid for 30 days from the date issued. Verbal estimates are not binding. Material price changes outside that window may require re-quoting before fabrication begins.
2. Deposits & payment
Custom fabrication requires a 50% deposit before materials are ordered. The remaining balance is due upon completion of installation. We accept ACH, check, and major credit cards (a 3% processing fee applies to card payments above $2,500).
3. Permits & approvals
Unless agreed otherwise in writing, we obtain required municipal sign permits on your behalf and bill the actual permit cost as a pass-through item. Landlord and property-owner approvals are the client's responsibility unless explicitly included in the scope.
4. Lead times
Lead times quoted are good-faith estimates based on current shop load. We are not liable for delays caused by permit offices, material backorders, weather, or acts of God.
5. Workmanship warranty
We warrant our fabrication and installation workmanship for two (2) years from the install date. LED modules, drivers and power supplies are covered separately under the manufacturer's warranty (typically 5–10 years). The workmanship warranty does not cover damage from storms, vehicle impact, vandalism, electrical surges, or modifications by another party.
6. Site conditions
Client is responsible for disclosing known structural issues, hidden utilities, asbestos, or other conditions that may affect installation. Additional work required due to undisclosed conditions will be billed at standard shop rates.
7. Intellectual property
Design files, renderings and engineered drawings produced by us remain our property until paid in full. Upon final payment, the client receives a non-exclusive license to use the design for the installed sign. Re-use for other locations requires a separate agreement.
8. Liability
Our liability for any claim related to a project is limited to the amount paid for that project. We are not liable for indirect, consequential or lost-profit damages. We carry general liability and workers' compensation insurance; certificates are available on request.
9. Cancellation
Orders may be cancelled before fabrication starts with the deposit refunded less any design or engineering hours incurred. Once fabrication has begun, deposits are non-refundable.
10. Website use
This website is provided "as is" for informational purposes. We do not warrant continuous availability. You agree not to use the site to upload malicious code, attempt unauthorized access, or scrape content for commercial republication.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas. Any dispute will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Matagorda County, Texas.
